Today, our STEM Communication Officer, Vhairi, led a whole-school professional learning day for 62 partner school teachers from Lalor North Secondary College. This school is in the process of implementing a new, whole-of-school approach to inquiry-based learning. As such, Vhairi led them through a condensed version of our current inquiry program, What & Where in Whittlesea, which is a collaboration with the City of Whittlesea council and asks learners to solve problems relating to population growth and lack of community in newly-developed regions of Melbourne’s north.
