Last Thursday evening during Education Week, we opened our doors to our local community. It was incredible to see so many people – young, old, teachers, industry, interested locals – exploring what Tech Schools have to offer. The event included tours led by our co-directors, Sandra and Stefan, and hands-on activities, including the option for attendees to digitally design and vinyl-cut their own t-shirt decals. My favourite moment was seeing one of our student ambassadors co-teaching with me (Vhairi) and helping a family with our tech.
