We have been approached by the DET Tech Schools Division to engage in some work developing curriculum for teacher to use regarding Science Literacy. Science Literacy and Science communication are specialist areas that enable students to communicate complex scientific concepts to a non-scientific audience. Our aim is to develop a resource for the 10 Tech Schools which is also made available to partner schools. We will undertake a range of fact finding activities as we scope out this undertaking and will reach out to some science teachers in our partner schools for feedback and advice. Stay tuned!
